Update on the Impact of the New Executive Orders on Federal Contractors and Other Employers

View the Webinar On-Demand

Since President Trump’s rescission of Executive Order 11246, federal contractors have grappled with how to “wind down” their affirmative action plans covering women and minorities while still complying with VEVRAA and Section 503. Now faced with potential False Claims Act liability or enforcement actions from the EEOC and DOJ, federal contractors are also navigating what diversity initiatives they can continue and what constitutes “illegal DEI.”

Join Matthew Camardella, Principal, and co-leader of the Affirmative Action, OFCCP, and Government Contract Compliance practice group of Jackson Lewis P.C., for an in-depth discussion on the ongoing impact of the rescission of Executive Order 11246 and Trump’s new DEI executive orders. He will examine the evolving role of the Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and clarify what obligations federal contractors still hold. Gain insight into what is now required, permissible, and prohibited under the updated regulatory framework.
